Once your CARES Act application has been processed and approved by the County, it is sent to our Office for payment where it will be handled on a “first-in, first-out” basis. Typically, payments are processed and mailed by the Clerk & Comptroller within two to three business days of receiving the approval from the County. Questions concerning the approval process and the timeline for submitting approved applications for payment should be directed to the County.
The partnering agency receives funds from Pasco County for distribution. This means your payment will come from the partner agency, rather than the Clerk & Comptroller. Questions regarding how long payments may take before they are received should be directed to the partner agency through which the application was submitted.
Small business grant payments are issued through the Pasco County Economic Development Council. Contact PEDC with questions regarding payment.

Applications are submitted through Pasco County or an approved County partner during select application periods. The Clerk & Comptroller is responsible for issuing payments once applications submitted directly to the County are approved. Payments for approved applications through a County partner will come from the County partner itself. Our Office does not process applications for CARES Act money but rather acts in the role of chief financial officer and treasurer in distributing the funds.
